CAFE NEW WORLD - Osaka

新世界の純喫茶ニューワールドに行った時のお話。

When we were strolling around the area SHINSEKAI (新世界), we found this traditional looking cafe called "Cafe New World" (a direct translation of SHINSEKAI 新世界).

The have a traditional cafe menu there so we decided to order Omuraisu (オムライス) - omelet with rice - and mixed sandwiches. 

There is ketchup on top of Omuraisu, but we wanted to change up the taste a bit so put some sauce on top at the end.

The sandwich doesn't have egg salad but has Tamagoyaki (卵焼き) - rolled egg - inside. 

This kind of traditional looking cafe is called Jun-Kissa (純喫茶) which is disappearing from Japan slowly but you can find quite a lot of them in SHINSEKAI.
